Lexus of BrisbaneGolf Tournament
There were a swarm of Lexus vehicles lining the carparks as our golfers enjoyed some breakfast before their 18 holes began. David Gillard welcomed the teams and highlighted the rules of the 4-ball Ambrose game, along with announcing the special guests that were stationed around the course.
Golfers started by measuring their ‘smash factor’ on the 2nd hole using the Flight Scope technology before getting a glimpse of the beautiful wallabies that lined the fairways. In amongst the Prawn Dumplings on the 9th hole, courtesy of Stanley Restaurant Head Chef and Lexus of Brisbane Group Ambassador, Louis Tikaram, golfers were also able to guess their tee-shot drive speed with PCYC Nerang on the 11th.
Finally, our guests were greeted by Adrian from the Leukaemia Foundation on the 17th hole, where they were able to make donations in order to earn their team a ’hole-in-one’. All teams were very generous with the Leukaemia Foundation receiving over $1,500 - where these vital funds could help provide 28 nights of accommodation free of charge as a ‘home away from home’ for regional or rural families who have to relocate to the city to be close to the life-saving blood cancer treatment for a loved one.

A big congratulations to Gerry, Gurdip and Bruce, for taking out the title as the Lexus of Brisbane Champions, even as a three-ball team. They also qualify to compete against the other Lexus of Brisbane Group Dealerships for the Gordon Scifleet Trophy in March 2023 at Brookwater.
We can’t wait to host our Lexus Encore Members at Links Hope Island in 2023.
